When I got under my car I thought for a moment that they had sent me the wrong filter. The new ones were so much larger than the one the shop had installed. I was relieved to find out they fit perfectly, and noticed my oil pressure was actually higher. Part of this may be attributed to being a brand new filter, but I'm confident, being a bigger filter allows more surface area, and thus less pressure drop through the membrane. I also liked the backflow prevention feature, especially for my twin turbos.
