K&N Filters have always been worth the money due to increased performance and mileage and that they never need replaced.

This is my 2nd one (first was on my other car - a Subaru Outback - this one is on a Honda Pilot). It's a solid high performance filter that really holds up to all conditions. I recently cleaned one that had 60K miles on it with the recharge kit and it looked like it still had plenty of breathability to spare. It is a little messy to clean, but you only need to do it every 50K or so miles, so it's worth not having to change filters every few months. I definitely recommend it for any vehicle you plan on keeping for awhile.
