my antenna quit working a couple years ago. common on 84 vettes. to replace the original was $189 w/o shipping or labor. did my own work with a friend for less than $20 . [ includes the cost of a 6pack of suds] yeah; it does'nt go up and down automatically but it works just fine. if i wanted to lower the mast just push it down or raise to desired length.

This type of antenna is hard to find in local auto stores. It goes all the way down so you don't have to remove your antenna or cut a hole in your car cover. You must have plenty of room in the fender well to use this type of antenna. Price of this antenna is great and shipment was fast.
