These worked well but the retaining clips that come with them are junk. Only way to get the struts to stay on was to use the old clips from the original struts. They are supposed to push on and lock via one way teeth that grip the edge of the metal strut but the ones that come with the struts are really flimsy and would not lock. Fortunately the replacement struts are identical in size to the originals and the old clips which are way better made slipped right on. Its really a poor design but that is bmws fault.
