I bought these pads as I was sick of cleaning the wheels. Although BMW's OEM pads worked well, they are notorious for dusting. The Akebono pads are so clean; my back wheels (stock pads) actually dust up before the front ones now. Unbelievable! In addition, the Akebono's are very "progressive" in their engagement, have great stopping power and seem to be very predictable, whether cold or hot. Yes, they are a premium priced pad but in my opinion worth every penny if you want superior braking and are sick of cleaning your wheels every week.
