Fit as a replacement with some adjustment. Does not contain the same vent holes underneath that the original BMW splash shield does. Thus it does get hotter than the original. The material is not rigid as the original and is not reinforced under the wheel well. The part is not a single piece. It has a portion that is riveted on with plastic rivets. It is noticeable as one approaches the car, but the splash shield is functional. It is approximately half the cost and does fit my 525i. Still....I am considering ordering the BMW parts and replacing because of the lower quality and appearance.
