The unit for a 1994 Grand Prix was a direct fit. If your looking for a solid replacement for street use it is perfect. If your looking for a show car - the judge will spot this replacement quickly. It has two drain holes on the very bottom where you would not normally not see them that are used to mount the internal motor. And the motor has a slight whine, a tell tail sign that its a different drive than the GM model. For my '94 this replacement was perfect and more than $200 less than an GM replacement.
