Poor packaging resulted in what appeared to be minor appearance damage to the unit. I did not see the damaged in transit sticker that was placed on the unit until installing it. In additon The Fedex person never mentioned or inferred there was damage when delivering. The catalytic converter did not fit exactly when being installed by my shop. The pipe had to be heated and bent in order to make a fit. We thought it would be a close fit. I doubt it was damaged and bent that much. After a few hours labor to make it fit it was still cheaper than going to a GM dealer. It did pass an emission inspection afterward.

I was a little iffy on purchasing due to the reviews I have read about product fitment but I am glad I gave it a try. The cats look and feel solid. I had no problem with fitment at all. I was able to remove the old and install the new in about an hour and a half using a floor jack to raise the truck and a floor jack to hold the transmission up after I removed the cross member. Was a very easy straight foward process. It can be done with basic hand tools but I opted to use air tools as it is faster. I would recommend this product to anyone as it is the best value for a the quality of product.

We had to bend the new cat so it would line up wit the headers. The exhaust shop I use had to bend it and it still wouldnt line up right. After a few hours of minor adjustments it was in. Definitely not a do it yourself in the driveway kinda part. Requires skill and tools. Much cheaper than the 1200 quoted from dealer but after all was said and done the cat was 300 and I paid 300 to have it put in so still much cheaper than Oem.
