Someone trashed the mirror on my 97 Yukon and I selected this as a replacement based on price and fit as specified on the website. It arrived quickly in good condition. It was nice and shiny and a very good match to the original. Installation was simple- just remove a little triangular piece of trim and the foam behind it remove three nuts and unplug old mirror. Then remove the foam trim on the outside of the vehicle which was not needed. Position the new mirror install the three nuts plug the wire on poke the foam back in the hole and snap the trim piece back on. The most difficult parts were holding on to the connector inside the door so it wouldnt fall away out of reach and being sure not to drop the nuts when taking them off or putting them back on. Tying a string to the cable so it wouldnt fall away would have made that part easier. As for the nuts I used one of those little telescoping magnets and had the magnet in contact with the nut as it ran out of thread when removing and until it was well threaded on when installing and had no problem. It is tight access to the three nuts an open end wrench works well as I dont think a socket would reach the one nut. Anyway after installing the mirror it works well. I do notice a slight waviness in the reflection on the inside upper corner but it is not bad and not really distracting. If I lost the driver side mirror I wouldnt hesitate to replace it with the matching one to this one.

Mirror was busted off and needed to replace it. installing the mirror I got from car part wholesales with no trouble at all. took 5 minutes to install and it works perfectly. for $35 it was perfect.
