When a young teenage driver,was scared to get over, she hits mail box. This kool vue mirror was a great replacement on the 97 S-10. You don't have to take off the whole door panel to put the new one on. You will need deep well socket to getold one off. Price was good to what a OEM cost. Now the kool vue mirror is the best part of the truck. Don't beafraid to buy one
