I installed this on my 2001 Sierra. I envisioned cutting torches etc to take the old one off. Surprisingly the bolts broke free easily. I used a sawzall to gain access to the bolts. They spin free after a few turns but vice grips will hold the head to get the bolts off. I left all brackets on the truck and just took off the bumper. I replaced the nuts (they were locking) with 1.75 M flange bolts. Use an impact wrench for the lower outer nuts otherwise the brackets bend. I would have fixed this years ago if I new it was this easy. Take the license plate light bulbs and remove wiring harness once you gain access

The product was delivered on time came well protected and had an excellent chrome finish. All holes were predrilled for mounting brackets and plastic trim. One hole was not drilled for rubber bumper for license plate.

Thanks for the fast service and the best price. the bumper went on easy and all the holes lined up.wish I hade got some bumper bolts from you. but didnt see them on your page. had to use carriage bolts and grind down the heads. and I sprayed under coat on the back side before insatling hopeing to slow down rust..

I recommend priming and painting the inside of the bumper before installing it. Otherwise a good part and right price.

Needed a replacement bumper for my 2000 GMC Sierra truck and this one filled the bill quite nicely with little or no modifications needed. It looks great too!
