Great once it is on right by Hawk, June 9, 2011

I have a 2011 Suburban. I went to my mechanic to help put my guard on, since I had no help. The directions also were so lacking in needed info that my eyes crossed after 2 lines. Good thing I did though. It took 3 of us 2 hours. The left side just wouldn't line up and kept hitting the paint when we tightened the bolts. After multiple spacer changes on the lower brackets (it comes with a huge mount of these with no mention on where to put them) we ended up putting a 1.5 inch spacer in the upper left bracket just to get it to space out enough. There WAS a ding on the left side (didn't see until I took the shipping padding off) when I received it so maybe the tubing bent during shipping? Anyway, I am sure glad I didn't try to do it myself. Maybe this part just really doesn't fit the 2011 Suburban that well? Also, the tow hook cover will not be able to be put back on after you attach the lower brackets fyi. Looks pretty sweet once it is figured out and on though!
