The original side view mirror was broken. It was a motorized driver side view mirror. The part arrived at my home within a week of the purchase. The only thing it didnt come with was installation instructions. I was lucky and found a video on YouTube that showed step by step how to install the mirror. It was very easy to do. My mistake was that I didnt make sure that the replacement was motorized like the original. I would have spent the extra cost for the motorized mirror had I noticed that there were 2 mirrors available for the driver side. One motorized the other manual.
