With a Cherokee the key had a skim that has to be programmed to work with jeep. No directions on how to take apart to make sure skim number is correct or change tumblers to match existing key. Will not work once installed with the keys supplied. Mechanism in jeep does not allow it to start and cannot be changed or disabled to work. Do not buy!!!!
