For the price you cant beat this replacement. It was the exact replacement for the mirror broke. Im a draftsman nothing to do with auto mechanics. I had this in in 30 mins. And ready to roll. The cord was perfect replacement length.

The part arrived in a few days time. Part is a replacement for my wife's 2006 Town & Country Touring model after she cracked the outside edge of the mirror on the side of the garage while backing out the van. My wife originally called several places for repair estimates and was quoted around $300. We then looked on line and found this sight with a price that obviously caught our eyes. A youtube video showing the process of replacing the mirror gave me a degree of comfort with the process. After receiving the mirror, I followed the installation process on the video and I think I would have completed the process in 30 minutes or less if it wasn't for the wiring harness length. The unit we had a harness that was about 9 inches shorter than on the unit I received. Using the same harness routing, it would have been impossible to route the new harness. Rather than ship the part back, I just decided to splice the new harness with the old to make up for the length discrepancy. This whole process took me at least 90 minutes. At this point it seems to be functioning fine. At this point, I'm wondering why these manufacturers can't provide a part having a harness length that's consistent with the length of the original part? This is very annoying. Also, why can't the specs on the original part be published along with the replacement part?

I wasn't expecting much, since the price is so low compared to a factory replacement. I was surprised that it's an exact match of the original as far as looks, quality, and performance. I did find the foam gasket that it came with a little too thick and akward, so I just reused the old one. Overall, I'm extremely happy with it.
