Discounted price, plus a rebate, made it a steal. Works as far as I can telll and anyone can use it. Simple and effecient from a reliable company. Seeing about 3mpg better fuel mileage in my truck.

Ok so purchased this programmer for my 2011 ford f150 5.0 causes detonation even on the 87 octane tune . I would be happy to just adjust tranny and run stock engine tune but that is not possible with this tuner . I have contacted several people at superchips they are unknowledgable and have poor customer service now I'm stuck with a $400 paper weight I am less than impressed to say the least!!!!

I did NOT buy the Cortex for power. My MPGs dropped drastically when we went to ETOH. My 16 month average was 16.155 MPG (18+ before ETOH). My average over the last 4 tanks is 20.17 MPG. Power is WAY smooth on "mileage XS save" setting. PLUS it comes alive with the hammer down for passing or dodging. I've tried gadgets for decades on my vehicles. This is the first one that has surpassed expectations. for each 20 gallons, I am getting an extra 80.3 miles, saving 4.8 cents a mile @ $3.90 a galllon, or $19.22 for each 400 miles driven. I LOVE IT! THE INCREASE IN HP IS AMAZING AND IM AVERAGING AROUND AN EXTRA 20-30 MILES A TANK ON PERFORMANCE SETTING. I ONLY WONDER HOW GOOD IT'LL BE IF I USE THE FUEL ECONOMY SETTING. I THINK I MIGHT GO FIND OUT :) BUT, IF YOU RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT, ITLL SUCK YOUR GAS TANK DRY.

Didn't see much of anything for mileage increases but the increase in HP is incredible.
