Dis cap iz most freakin' wickass! In other words - works as advertised. I have a 1997 Ford Taurus (please stop laughing) which does not have a locking fuel door like many imports. I have seen cases in the news recently where desperate needy folks are stealing gas, siphoning it out of gas tanks. Now I wouldn't mind donating money to these folks, because it's just plain dangerious for people to be doing this. I park my car in the street, so it could be tempting for such people. Out of concern for their safety, I've purchased this locking gas cap. It also works to prevent the pubescent but costly practical jokes involving the insertion of various substances into your gas tank. It works really well - once locked, the top of the cap just spins and you have no leverage for turning the cap out of the filler pipe. I put a little note & $20 next to my filler cap so if someone comes along that's desperate for gas, they can get $20 bucks worth and not endanger their lives. We should get used to this. World Oil Demand has finally outstripped supply. New International Energy Agency report could be turned into the horror movie of the year. Batten down the hatches!!!!!
