I have the correct part for my vehicle. But getting to it to change it out is not a easy thing to accomplish. My vehicle has power windows/locks and the linkage for the lock cylinder is behind a window track. So far Ive had the door apart three times and havent been able to properly access the lock linkage to remove it. Very frustrating. I think Ill have to remove the whole inner door skin to remove the window track and be able to get at the part that I have to un-hook. Not a siimple reach in. Im going to need some more professional instructions or end up hiring a pro to complete the job. :( One of the garages I called told me that GM had a recall on this vehicle for door lock problems like 15 years ago. Ive only owned this vehicle for a couple of months and Im trying to correct all the problems with it.
