This sensor requires a 7/8 inch deep socket with a slot cut the length of the socket to allow the wires to turn without being cut. The wires on this sensor are fatter than the slot found in speacial sockets made for sensors. You will have to sacrifice a new socket to get the sensor in and out. The savings found by buying here easily cover the cost of the socket. The job is not too difficult and is bst done when the car is cold.

This sensor did not work in a 2001 Volvo V70. I learned later that Volvos are very touchy and only OEM sensors work not universal.

I was told by several repair shops including a Lexus dealer that this o2 sensor would be a very poor choice for a Lexus, because the splicing would decrease the appility of the O2 sesor to function. I am returning the product today via the USPS priority mail

No shipping charge and great instructions. Did not use the connector supplied-too bulky. Used crimp connectors-cannot solder stainless steel wire-and it all worked out fine.
