I'd say witha cold air intake system this would work good. I dont have cold air intake system and it didnt do much for my truck. gas mileage went down and my torque increased a little. Not to sure what to make of it yet!

Installed on 2003 Silverado 1500HD. Installed K&N cold air intake at same time. Together they only took about 1 hour to install. Noticed improvement in power and some in gas mileage.

I expected some noise from the unit. Previous ones had made a whooshing sound. This one is perfectly silent. Made a tremendous difference in power throughout the tach range. Great product.

not a bad buy with the combonation of the cold air intake and single stage muffler it gets up and goes. and people hear you coming... makes a slight whistle like a turbo charger (you can really hear the air being sucked in and twirled around through the air intake. i didnt notice much more fuel efficency but i did the math and i was getting around 2 mpg more than i was previously getting before i installed the power tower. i drive a chevy 2500 6.0 liter and any little bit of increased fuel economy is nice.

I installed a K&N Gen 2 FIPK the same time I installed my spacer... There's BIG difference in both response & gas mileage. I should have calculated my gas mileage before I did it but I'm not watching my gas gauge wind down like a clock anymore. It's appearance alone made me all anxious to install it.
