Other than a bit of a struggle installing the filter, I`m very haapy with the performance of it.

This is my second K & N air filter. First for a Diesel. My past experience was awesome! Prior to trading in my GMC with a 5.3 gas engine, I removed the K & N filter and put the stock air filter back in. I had to move a machine and trailer which weighs about 6000 pounds. I thought I had a brake hanging up because it just didn't have the power I was accustomed too. It was the restricted air flow from the stock air filter. K & N air filters let the engines breath. Buy one, experience this for yourself!

Overall the K&N filter is of good quality and does help with fuel mileage. The install can be trickey so read the direction carefully, The GM air box is designed differently in the new 08s. But the product does work well and worth the money
