"This muffler is made out of ""soda can thin"" sheet metal and needs to be completely replaced after only 1 year..... Apparently I have to replace the entire OE muffler system every 3 oil changes, or every time I rotate the tires..... ""Aluminized"".... what's sense of that??? To make it rot out 6 times faster than a $25 universal Thrush muffler? Utterly horrible construction.... should be a class action lawsuit against the manufacturer!!!!"

This muffler looked great when it arrived, was easy to install, and sounded like a new Trooper. Just after the warranty, I noticed holes in the muffler and heavy rust on the flanges. It will need to be replaced. The vehicle is not in salt and kept clean. I have had many other mufflers in similar applications that lasted far longer than two years. I intend to keep this Isuzu for several more years and should not need to replace the muffler every 24 months.
