The Toyota dealership was going to charge way over $100. for the part. When the part arrived at my house, I had a little over and hour before my wife needed the van to drive. I was worried I might run into problems, but the window motor came with instructions that helped a lot. I just took my time and in less than 1 hour, I had the old window motor out and the new one installed. I connected the power window switch and checked to make sure it was working before I put back the door trim. I can't believe I drove the van around for 2 years with a broken window motor. It was cheap and easy to repair my self. The one tool you need to take off the old motor was a T27 star driver. The rest was just standard tools. Be sure and check on the internet for instruction on how your interior door trim should be removed. All cars are slightly different.

I priced these motors at both Chevy and Toyota dealerships, and they wanted about $300. Neither had them in stock. My cost here was about $60 after paying core-return shipping. Thankfully I had disassembled the door before I got the instructions. They would have had me remove the entire window regulator assembly. I did it by blind removal of the three screws holding the motor to the regulator after loosening the regulator assembly only. Not easy, but for easier than pulling all the guts out of the door. A great buy!
