Mazda 2002 Protege 5 Rear tail light assembly by keymasabe, March 19, 2013

Ease of Use/Installation:
Overall Rating:

Should have just ordered the unit without wiring harness. The new unit came with wiring harness that had a plug. Didnt want to start cutting wires and reattaching. Used old wiring harness to place into the lens light x 3. Had to file nubs of the center light fixture to make the fit. Everything works fine.

Seemed fine until tried toi install... by , January 28, 2011

The appearance of the tail light was very good but when trying to install it, the male wire connector did not align properly with the female connector on the car and all the pins in the female were in perfect alignment and condition. Returned the part for a refund and bought a genuine mazda part (paid thru the nose but at least it fit).
