It worked and passed inspection but it seems somewhat cheaply made. The welds and all seemed fine and it fit without a problem (needed replacement bolts since the orignal cat has them pressed in). Really the thing that gave me a bad impression was the paint job. They attached a large sticker right on the cat itself and it didnt just peel off. I didnt want it to burn off so I tried removing it with some carb cleaner. The paint just disolved. Looked like it was spray painted silver. Itll probably rust out quickly. My suggestion would be to just leave the sticker on the cat and let it burn off. I ended up having to replace the front cats also and after seeing the quality of this one I decided to spend a little extra and get the Evan Fischer. The Evan Fischer looked like MUCH better quality. To assist in installation: 1. Youll probably need to grind off the bolts of the old cat since they WILL be rusted. 2. Youll also probably have to beat on the old cat to get it off on the rear since the clamp indention will cause you grief. 3. When you get the bolts (and probably exhaust clamp) rent the Tail Pipe Expander tool to remove the indention caused by the clamp. You stick it inside the pipe then crank it with a wrench/ratchet. Put a little oil on it first and only insert it partially the first time then slide it farther in and do it again. No need to heat it with a torch. Itll then slip right in. Although I selected that I dont recommend this product it appears that it will work fine if you are in a pinch and dont have the $ to spend on the better quality cat. Just make sure you check it for rust periodically. Note: I rated this as Excellent for the Ease of Use/Installation only because it really wasnt complicated with the right tools. The part fit fine. Best to have some experience working on cars though.
