If you have never put a converter in and are google impaired then you are doomed with this product anyways. What I have found on google that will help with installing this is point the extra stem hose thing that sticks out towards the engine. I passed emissions so I figured that it was the right way to put it on.

The bolt holes in the flange at the rear of the converter are off by about an eigth of an inch and need to be drilled out in order to line up.
