Followed installation instructions at NissanHelp.com. Glove box and interior trim panel do not need to be removed as instructions indicate. Filter is approximately 11 x 10.5 inches and filter cover tab and slot opening are about 6 inches. Filter must be compressed to fit into slot. Squeeze it in the middle accordian style compressing ribs. The end will mushroom around the compressed center portion allowing the end to fit into slot. Push filter into slot and then compress the other end of the filter the same way so it fits into the slot. Jiggle the filter around a little to make sure it is not binding on anything. It will spring back to its original shape. Replace filter cover tab.

good product. very difficult to install. I blame this on the auto maker of my nissan 2008 altima. you have to squeeze the filter to get it in. could they put a regular maintenance item in a more difficult place!??
