MAF was exact replacement in 2002 Maxima. Had other issues also needed a Throttle Body - but motor running great now

Bought this sensor on March 10th, 2010. Yesterday, 2011/06/11, I got code P0100 - Mass Air Flow sensor failed, car died right on driveway. Will you like an idea to replace something once a year?
