The part was similar in all aspects except where the motor attached to the mechanism that holds the cables to raise and lower the window. The new part has a sq shaft which transitions to a cylinder. The cylinder is larger than the original part and does not fit into the plastic part that holds the cables. I put a caliper to them both after trying with out success to get the parts to fit and sure enough the new part is slightly larger than the new. I had to run the new part over a bench grinder to make it fit. Wouldnt reccomend this part. Perhaps they only had a few that were made incorrectly.
