These high-flow intake kits provide better air flow to your motor by replacing the factory air path with a larger diameter polyethylene tube. This charge of fresh air allows your motor to breathe better and immediately put out more power!
All 63 Series AirCharger high-flow intakes include the largest conical high-performance filter that will fit in your engine compartment and still use OE holes and mounting points. The bigger filter surface area also allows more air to flow into the engine and captures more dirt, boosting service intervals up to up to 100,000 miles.

Overall the Cold Air Intake System is a good product. It improve the performance and idle and it sounds great. The fault that I have that the air box for the support bracket were not pre-drilled. K&N was contacted and they said that it was an error from the their vendor during production run and it is to be replaced with a new one. This has been over two weeks and have not receive my replacement as of yet.

The intake tube is great. I put some of it together the night before and intaled it the next day in about 30 minutes. You can really hear it after about 30,000 rpms. Not sure about fuel economy but the truck is definately more responsive. The weather stripping around the housing was the only thing i had a problem with.

best upgrade ever! sounds great on my frontier and i can tell a huge differece in the MPG. with the intake and my new exhaust i am getting an average of 6+ MPG. the whistle is cool too. AWSOME
