came in orginal box with no packing. no instrustions on which side should be installed up. only shielded on one side.

Great affordable product. I installed it on a 95 Cherokee. I had to make up about 7" of exhaust pipe to compensate for the smaller size of this cat. Also, the inlet/outlet was not labeled but it can be installed in both directions so it's ok. Both the inlet and outlet are the same diameter so I had to purchase some couplers to make it work.
