Product presented well. However, it was a struggle to install. Looks like the flanges weren't welded to the same position as OEM. Wouldn't bolt to the header pipe flange flat without cranking on the bolts. Had to drill the rear flange holes bigger to accept the OEM muffler studs as they weren't drilled correctly. Rear muffler bracket wouldn't align because flanges weren't correct.
A good purchase for the price... by Quantum, October 7, 2011

October 7, 2011 This is my daily driving vehicle... 1996 Chevy Blazer. I was looking for the best deal... this one came in at the best price. I am not happy with the hanger supports... The rear one is in two pieces... OEM is one piece... and they welded on small pieces of metal to make the tips and the stops for the actual rubber hangers. The front one is missing... not included. It is a direct fit... in that after removing the old one... this one bolts right in... after you find three bolts for the front flange... as the OEM converter has studs welded in. You can use the old nuts... if you find bolts that fit them. The pipe coming out the back... was not straight with the converter... once again... making it look unprofessional in construction... Also... the same pipe is smaller in diameter... as you can clearly see in the photo I attached. On the test run... there was no loss in performance. My SES (Service Engine Soon) light was on prior to the test... and had been for some time. Checking the code indicated the downstream oxygen sensor was reading a bad converter. After one week of driving... the SES light went out on its own... There were no unusual odors... There were no ticking noises that I usually hear from a converter that is cooling down once the engine is turned off. Whenever I change out a part on the vehicle... I like it to look as good as OEM... or better. The packaging needs to be a lot better... There were many holes and tears in the box from the hanger supports... and the converter could move around in the box during shipping... there was no packing material inside to keep the unit from moving around. For the money... It solved the problem... Easy to install... and the powder coating is a nice added touch.
