Adjustability on a budget by White Laser, November 22, 2010

Overall Rating:

All in all I am happy with the KYB AGXs. I have to admit I was a bit concerned when I first received the shipment. One of the spring seats for the rear struts had come dislodged and was loose around the strut. After consulting a few mechanics, I seated it back with a rubber mallet. No issue there. Install was straight forward. I used Suspension Techniques 1.0" drop springs. Supposed to be 15% stiffer than stock. The drop is EXACTLY at 1.0". I was pretty impressed. The adjustability of these struts makes them worth it. 1-8 in the rear, 1-4 in the front. Set it to 6 in the rear and it is a little bouncy. Set it to 4 in the rear and you have a stiff but close to stock ride. As for the front I'm still working on that, but I think I like 1 the best. Best of luck!
