I purchased this Mirror to replace one that was damaged. The mirror certainly looks original but two of the mounting studs were missaligned making installation far more difficult than it should be. I removed the rubber grommet and also the rubber mechanism caseing from the old mirror and installed these back on the new mirror. When I attempted to attach the unit it would never go flush with the door panel. Once installed the manual adjustment lever would not operate the mirror. To get the mirror to work I had to remove the inside the car panel cover and leave it off. I surmise that the cables are slightly too long.
