After not having a window that didnt works for so long it is finally nice to be able to go thorugh a drive thru. Sometimes I forget it works. But it sound really loud going down. Like almost some isnt right noisy. But hey it works! :) It was worth the price to pay for a working window. If I had paid more I would expect it to be less noisy.

Decent and cheap regulator by Broham, November 17, 2012

I was kind of shocked that the whole unit cost less than $50. Like others have said it is slightly louder when compared to the other windows on my 05 Cav but it seems just as powerful. Installation was straightforward (found detailed instructions online) but still took several hours. Dealing with the rivets was the worst part especially based on the fact that none were included. Come on what would that have cost to toss those in ...maybe $.05? It lead to a unexpected trip to the parts store. Just hope it lasts because the old unit was surprisingly rusted (see attached).

Unit went in easily but is somewhat noisier I replaced the passenger unit in the same vehicle about 4 years ago and that is still working nicely. I expect this one to work as well.

a better actuator by Lee, December 17, 2011

This is the third actuator/motor I have installed in my 2004 Chevrolet Cavalier's driver side door and by now I am getting very proficient. This part arrived with studs welded to the mounting plate which eliminated the task of installing pop rivets. However, there were no nuts for the studs so I had to make a run to the hardware store, a minor inconvenience. The motor was different and came with a longer electrical pigtail which initially made me think I had received the wrong part. All in all, the operation is quieter and smoother . . . a superior product to my last two.

OEM is much better, but cost more by Bubba B, September 14, 2009

I installed several power window regulator/motor assemblies in my lifetime. This one would go not go up as smooth as the original GM part. If you plan to keep your car a long time, get an original part. To be fair, no aftermarket regulator/motor assembly I ever installed worked as well as the original part. It came down to cost. This Cavalier wasn't worth putting in a high dollarr GM part, so I bought this one..
