My Bright/Dim switch failed--a common ailment in older Porsche Carreras. This switch is the exact replacement part. I'm a long-time garage mechanic (and Orthopedic Surgeon: Skeletal Mechanic), and had taken the steering column apart before. This part does not come with instructions, so a shop manual is necessary for first-time installer. The easiest way to connect the wires is to first remove the headlight switch from the dash. Be careful with the steering column fascia--it is not replaceable if broken.
