This tailgate arrived in perfect condition. It was cheaper than buying a used one from a salvage yard. The hardware from the old tailgate was transferred to this one with no problems (after painting). It fit perfectly and even though it is an after market tailgate you cannot tell the difference. Im happy and saved a lot of money and time.

Tailgate was supposed to be for a 3500, but didn't have the mounting holes for the third brake light. Had numerous dents and all four corners were bent. Spent an extra hundred bucks on bodywork. Should have been crated instead of boxed.

Overall this is a nice product. Not intended for a restoration show piece but for day to day use wonderful. Painted up nice and took original intermal mechanisms precisely. I had to order a second one because the first one was damaged in shipping but it was painless and quick. They simply sent me a new one with no hassles and no xtra work on my end. Nice experience.

This is the cheapest around. I looked all around from junk yard to dealer. The dealer's price was $1200.00 and was not painted. Then I found this one and it was the best around. It will still have to be painted and you have to install hardware from the old tailgate. But trust me, it's a good deal.
