Eastern ECO GM Series Catalytic Converter
The Eastern ECO GM Series Catalytic Converter is designed specifically to meet emissions of GM 2.2, 3.1, 3.4 and 3.8L engines. It features wash coats with greater loadings of precious metals to handle applications with ultra low emissions, higher than normal emissions, as well as vehicles with higher mileage and heavier workloads.

The Catalytic Converter assembly fit my 2009 HHR exactly as described with no modifications. New gaskets made for a leak free installation. Oxygen Sensor bungs had threaded plugs in them when delivered so threads were protected.Although this was my first purchase from this company it wont be my last!

This piece was of better quality than the original part we pulled off the car. The original used an accordion type connector on the manifold end and this one uses a steel mesh, which is more like hi-performance applications. Nice surprise, especially considering the original had to be replaced due to a hole in the accordion.

The part was easy to install and works great, however it is a two person job. The converter works great and I plan on using carparts wholesale again for any of my auto needs.

I liked the fact that they used a stainless sleeved flex joint and the product fit great. The only complaint is the pipe is not the same size as stock and not mandrel bent. This will probably not make much of a difference on a 2.4 but will not flow as much as stock.
