Other then Amsoil filters (even more expensive) K&N has great construction, great flow. Filtration is ave but IMO filtration for oil is pretty much uselss and flow, especially cold start flow, is much more important. So, soild construction and great flow are the reasons I go with K&N Oil filters. Price is a definite negative factor
