You must get the K&N cleaner and oil kit for around $12 to $15. A paper filter for my cars cost on avg. $12.99 so paying $50 once is fine with me. The hp gain is insugnificant to me. It's technology coupled with value that I like. You can buy 3 paper filters for price of one K&N. I do say compare prices before you buy.

over all the product is very good. I wish they would say what oil would work for the cleaning of the filter not just theirs, i understand they have to make money but sometimes we all need short cuts to get by.
