Instructions says to install with arrow down but the gas spout did not fit until I turned the arrow up. Now the gas spout fits in and evrything works fine

I was getting a check engine light with the original gas cap, indicating there was an air leak. With the new cap, I get no check engine light. I also like the idea that I do not have to remove the cap (promoting the possible loss of the cap if I forget to put it back on) in order to refuel.

Once I got used to this new gas cap, I am in and out of the gas station quicker. I will never forget to put the gas cap back on! Cause I never take it off!
