The housing is not exact in size but is not noticeable unless you are looking very close. I can deal with that. What does bother me though is the vibrating mirror while driving. The housing does not vibrate, it's something in the mirror connection. Kinda eats at me since my car is only new months old. Kinda wanted it to be "like new". I guess I could have forked out another $160 and bought an OEM part from a dealer. That said, it is a pretty good after-market mirror and a lot cheaper but it is not perfect. Most people wont notice... unless you're the personality type, like me, that lets stuff get under your skin.
