If you own a 1999-2000 solara V6, you'll need to remove the factory downpipe/cat support bracket for this product to fit. My old flex pipe was leaking and noisy so I replaced the whole cat assembly for cheaper than getting a new flex pipe and having someone weld it in. This product is louder than the factory cat assembly.

The old OEM part had one flex pipe and this one has two, probably for better flange alignment. I sprayed the bolts the night before installation with penetrating oil to make removal easier. I had the unit bolted right up in a couple of hours. Three gaskets are included in the box for the flanges and should be noted in the description.

Took me about an hour to install, it fit perfectly and works just fine. Definately a home project.

It appears to function well. My check engine light did not come on. Other than the cradle mount that I was unable to remount, the converter was a good fit.

Toyota wanted almost $1,000 for this part and this was much cheaper. Probably not the same quality, but definitely a HOME RUN for the price. Needed some customization (cutting via torch) and I could not have installed this without professional help.
