I took it to a professional paint shop and they said it was "raw plastic" and needed priming for the paint to hold. I was pleased with how well the transaction worked and the speed of shipping. Shipping and handling cost seemed a bit high but it was a lange box. All in all I would recommend to others.

Having worked in the blow molding industry, I was leery of ordering this part and expected to receive a cover that had failed QA tests for the manufacturer. What a surprise when I saw It! The cover fit perfectly on the vehicle and I was totally incorrect about it being a rejected part. The cover was molded properly and was trimmed and nearly ready for painting. I ordered the primed bumper cover, but the primer was too thin and had to be redone. The wall thickness of the cover was not as good as the original, so it would crack easier in a collision, but comparing product value to cost, it was an excellent deal. I would certainly purchase this manufacturer's products again.
