After installing this product a light on my dash board came on. The dealer told me that it is because it senses there is not a tight fit on the gas cap. I wanted it because the original gas cap does not have a cord to hold it in place.

Would not recommend this product due to the fact it didn't last long enough for the money. Also I now have the part that broke off in my gas tank.

The trap door mechanism broke the first time I put gas into my truck, and I'm back to not having a gas cap.

No more twisting and turning my gas cap for minutes at a time thinking its tight enough, just for it to loosen again. I just get out, pump my gas and get back in. I love it!
