I have bought this part twice now and both times it fails with the gears just outside of the warranty period. The 1st one about 18 months and this last one 16 months. Motor still works and window goes up and down but won't keep the window up because the gears are worn. Asked if they would replace it and they are sticking to the 1 year warranty.

This item was a perfect replacement with a perfect fit compared to the OEM part. The only criticism is that it whines a bit more than the original. I chose the Replacement brand for it's price and 1 year warranty. Although you can spend twice the money on a name brand and get a five year warranty, but I felt that since my van was 13 years old, I probably wouldn't have it much longer than a couple more years anyway. Armed with a 10mm socket wrench, phillips screwdriver and small flat pry tool, this job took 45 mins start to finish. Probably the easiest and most inexpensive repair to my van in years. Best of all, I won't have to climb halfway out of my car at the bank drive-thru anymore, especially when depositing all the money I just saved on this repair. A call to your dealer will show that they charge over $400. to do this repair. Good luck!
