Recommended as an inexpensive replacement by JR, June 11, 2014

Ease of Use/Installation:
Overall Rating:

I bought this part figuring I would take a chance on it and see whether it would work for me or not. This part is 5X more at other retailers so I figured I could replace it 5 times for the same money. Why not?I was impressed by the overall quality of the part the casting and machining were excellent and it looked exactly like the OEM part I was replacing.I would highly recommend it for a failing chain tensioner. Note that this does not come with the gasket so make sure to order one with it.

After investigating the cause of check engine light it turns out that it has nothing to do with the chain tensioner. Nice inexpensive replacement of a genuine part which is 8x more expensive! Works just as well.

After installing the check engine light is still on however there is a possibility that its not the part that causing it. Will investigate.
