Mazda Wheel bearing install by A-Tomic, March 30, 2008

The Timken wheel bearings were surprisingly enough made in the USA and seem to be a high quality product. Installation can be troublesome though, especially if you have waited too long to replace your bearings. The procedure requires removing the entire hub and then pressing out the bearing in two parts and then repressing the new bearing back in. I was fortunate enough to have a 55 ton press available to me at work which made this job possible. I would recommend that if you do not have a way to press these babies out on your own, leave it to a professional garage, a hammer and 2X4 will not do the trick.
