Overall good product quality. Performance and fuel economy has not been measured yet. Install instructions were not completely accurate for the 2000 Jetta 2.0. I had to modify the air pump connector and the main box did not allign properly to the mass air hose. Outside of the install experience, I am very pleased with the product and I would reconmend it to others.

The AFE intake is a great addition and does offer way more airflow, but the air lid that comes with it has no logo on it. This obviously makes no difference, but under a hood where everything is covered in black plastic and the top heat shield lid is silver it looks a little weird that there is a recessed area for a logo but is plain. This filter kit did make a difference, and I would suggest it.

My intake arrived in perfect condition and was an easy install. Well enginnered for fit and all parts were perfect fitting. You can hear and feel the difference. My motor is chipped and injected and I should have done this months ago. It was fast before, but this finishing touch is real value and now it flys.
