This gas cap does not fit the 1998 Jaguar Vanden Plas. Very dissapointed.

The factory gas cap has a strap attached to it to prevent loss and cannot be switched to the new gascap.My car has a bracket on the inside of the gas filler door to hold the cap while filling which still works pretty good to prevent leaving it behind at the pump.

I would like to say, your product was great with great price, I checked with other store, it costs $39.99 for my 1998 Mitsubishi 3000 GT. Your price was under $4.00, what a deal. With all the shipping costs, it just costs around $14.00. It is still much cheaper than the store. I highly recommended your product.

Worked fine as OEM replacement. The Check Engine light went off as soon as the gas cap was installed. Our mechanic had said a crack in the original gas cap probably caused a leak in the sensor circuit, causing the Check Engine light to illuminate.
